Description

This is a very detailed One-Euro coin, the currency and symbol of European economy.

This is not just a cylinder object with a photograph or scan mapped onto it, as it is usually the case when you look for "3d models" of coins.
This product consists of a true 3D model (accurate dimensions), a sophisticated and yet easy-to-use shader with all necessary texture maps and four different MAX scenes (see thumbnails).

It renders blazingly fast in MAX" Standard Scanline renderer (about 20 seconds a frame on a moderately fast computer). No additional render plugins are required! Also there"s no displacement rendering necessary, because the coinage is being achieved through a very accurate normal map instead. The visual result is the same, but with much faster render speed and a fraction of the necessary memory consumption.

This coin is the current version of the Euro (since 2007). Its coinage depicts the entire continent instead of just a few countries, which made up the currency region back in 2002, when the first version of the Euro was issued. Meanwhile the Euro region has extended vastly, hence the new appearance of the coins.

Please check out the downloadable rendering at high resolution to evaluate the quality of this product!
