In the United States, the Grumman LLV is the most common vehicle used by letter carriers and small businesses.

The Grumman LLV came into use in 1987.

The USPS has purchased more than 100,000 of these vehicles, most recently in 1994. Approximately 140,000 LLVs are in the USPS delivery fleet.

Also, a lot of these vehicles were used in the delivery of goods. Some of them were also sold to Canada, Mexico and several other countries.
