Irish Bread

(This type of bread is especially popular around St. Patrick’s Day, and in mid-March, it can often be found at bakeries throughout the United States. Like many traditional foods, Irish soda bread originated as a way for cooks to use up what they had. Baking soda was introduced to Ireland in the 1830s.
