The Hunter-class frigate is a class of six heavy guided-missile frigates under construction for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Based on the British Type 26 Global Combat Ship design, these vessels are highly modified to meet Australian-specific requirements, primarily focusing on anti-submarine warfare.
