The Me262 was the world"s first operational jet fighter. This machine had a top speed of almost 600 mph and could carry 24 R4M air-to-air rockets along with its 4 MK108 30mm guns. This particular aircraft belonged to JG7 wing in late 1944 and received the standard-at-the-time RLM81/82/76 color scheme.
