Historical description of the coin:
This is a British One Penny coin from 1945.
On the obverse (right side of the image), there is a profile portrait of King George VI facing left with the inscription "GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX F:D:IND:IMP" around the edge, which translates to "George VI, by the Grace of God, King of all Britain, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
On the reverse (left side), there is the iconic seated figure of Britannia facing right, holding a trident and shield, with "ONE PENNY" written around the edge. The date "1945" appears at the bottom of this side.
This coin is made of bronze and was minted during World War II. The 1945 penny is from the final year of the war, making it a historically significant coin. It's part of the bronze penny series that was produced from 1937 to 1952 during George VI's reign.
The coin appears to be in good condition with clear details, though it shows some signs of circulation wear and possibly some minor damage on the reverse (visible as lighter patches).
