Description

AHTS Vessel.
3D model of an anchor handling tug supply vessel which uses high resolution multiple UV tiles allowing for high resolution close up shots.

-Proper quad modeling which allows any level of resolution and close up shots, this model is 96% quad.
-Hull textures originally created using Mari, the main hull textures are split into 3x4K textures using multiple UV tiles (UDIM). (Mari project files are not included)
-Hull diffuse/specular/bump photoshop format is included in the additional files section. Diffuse channel in the PSD file has all the layers included and you can easily change the text or modify the rust or colors.
-73 meters long vessel.
-Units used are centimeters
-All objects, textures and materials are properly named and can be easily used to select different grouping of objects (i.e. to select lifeboat objects, select all objects starting with HandlingVessel_lifeboat)
-Originally rendered in 3ds Max VRay. Water, background and render scenes are not included.

**3ds Max format**
-Please check the other files to download the rigged 3ds Max format if you want to easily animate and move the crane. (Rigged version uses multiple layers to facilitate selecting scene objects)
-Hull/main paint material uses composite maps.

**Maya format**
-Uses basic phong shaders that require further editing.
-Hull/main paint shader uses layered textures.
-Due to the fact this is a complex model which used multiple assets when creating and compiling it, it uses over 60 shaders. The main shaders can be easily spotted.

**FBX format**
-Tested to import properly into 3ds Max 2015 and Maya 2015

**OBJ format**
-Composite/layered texture for the main hull needs to be created manually in your software. Imported OBJ material will apply only one texture out of three of the multiple UV tiles.
To view the UV's clearly you can download the PSD texture format.
