Description

This is a handgun modeled after a Sig Sauer P232 in a .380 caliber. I did NOT use the Sig Sauer logo on the firearm. It is modeled to real world scale in cm.

Materials are all mentalRay (MR) so you will have to render with mentalRay or swap the shaders out for Maya ones. There are two maya files included, one with just the pistol and one with the lighting setup I used.

Five texture maps (2084x2084 .png) are included for the bump mapping of the text and pattern on the grip.

Poly count is for the low version. A polySmooth has been applied to some of the geometry and is in the history and can be removed. High poly count for the render was 16712 verts and 16694 faces.

All pieces function as they should, including the trigger, hammer, decocking lever, slide release, magazine release, etc. so that you can animate them. They have the proper pivot location and movement has been restricted for some of them to the axis they function on by locking the translate/rotate attributes.

A magazine is included along with a bullet in the .380 caliber.
