Notes : The Kentia Palm is native of the Lord How Island, but also grows in large standings on the Norfolk Island. It requires a moderate temperature and humid soil, and can stand full sun position only if the temperature is moderate. The Kentia Palm has become a very popular houseplant species. It can also grow outdoors in cooler climates, but can not stand freeze for more than a few hours. It grows slowly and is best kept as stand-alone species.
