Here ist an highly detailed and photorealistic model of a honey bee made with Cinema4D R9.
It consists of a low poly mesh in an HyperNurbs-objekt. So you have an highly detailed model without large polygon load. The bee´s body is anatomical accurate. Materials and Textures are included.
The Fur is made with the free plugin hairDepartment V1.83 from BSG Group. It works good but unfortunately with higher Poly-count. If you have the new hair modul from Maxon you can certainly take this for better results. Feel free to experiment, enjoy it!
