3d model of New York City Manhattan Lower (low poly)

This scene was modeled in 3ds Max and consists primarily of quads.
In the 3ds Max versions this model is organized on layers and groups.

All buildings are separated from others and have clean geometry.

NUMBER OF THE POLYGONS WITHOUT TREES IS:

515156 POLYGONS

570173 VERTS

NB:

Include even day version into separate file.

But you can get also day appearance, turning off self illumination materials and increase ambient lighting.

Lighting windows is obtained by procedural light map on self illumination glow slot.
With the parameters you can adjust , lighting and color of lights and decide the percentage of illuminated windows.
You can also adjust the glow with glare parameters.


This model represent part of the Manhattan lower tip area.

All buildings are located and are scaled based satellite images.Each building, have height and shapes exact as original.

The rendering is setup in mental ray.
Lighting is included .
No 3rd party plugin needed.
Skybox intensity may need to be lowered in newer versions of 3dsMax.


The buildings are all unwrapped.

Textures size is 4096x4096, 2048x2048, 1024x1024


Each Building have a Color Map, Bump Map.
Also includes Specular Map Mask , applied to Buildings with reflection windows.
