M16A4 is intended for game/realtime/background use.
This model is not intended for subdivision.
This is a high quality, low poly asset originally modeled in 3DS Max 2013. The normal map was baked from a high poly model, making this product look very detailed without using many polygons.
The main renders were done using Marmoset Toolbag. The wireframes are from the 3ds Max viewport and there are also renders from the Unreal Development Kit (UDK).
This weapon is designed to be fairly modular. The carry handle, hand guards, 5.56x45mm NATO bullets, and AN/PEQ-15 laser illuminator can be repositioned or removed entirely depending on your preference. Other parts such as the trigger, charging handle, and ejection port cover are ready for animation.
