Complete model of F14 Tomcat high level of detail.
The model was made taking care of each detail.You can use very close shots for each part of the model.
The Grumman F-14 Tomcat is a supersonic, twin-engine, two-seat, variable-sweep wing aircraft. The F-14 was the United States Navy's primary maritime air superiority fighter, fleet defense interceptor and tactical reconnaissance platform from 1974 to 2006. It later performed precision strike missions once it was integrated with the Low Altitude Navigation and Targeting Infrared for Night LANTIRN system.
Is composed of many panels as a real plane.In the 3ds max version,
I also modeled the details of the cockpit and wheeled parts.
Native format: 3ds max 9.
No 3rd party plugin needed.
The model is smootheable and easily editable. (turbosmooth, hypernurbs modifier) .
This model is organized cleanly on layers and consists primarily of quads.
Render is done with integrated 3ds max mental ray engine.Only In 3ds max version, lighting and environment are included(Mental Ray file).
I also included a non-illuminated 3DsMax version with standard materials,(if you do not use mental ray).
Background image is not included.
The textures are hand made with dirt and detail. The textures of the fuselage are applied with UV Unwrap. Some objects are not unwrapped (bolts, hollow tubes, etc...).
Textures range is:
2550x1868, 1024x1024 to 82x80.
--Rigging & Animation--
In the 3ds max version, the model is rigged.All aircraft parts have an easy animation (wings, scale, reactors, baffles, wheels, wheel compartments).
This scene is modeled in real world scale.
I included a zip file with the high resolution textures (2048x2048) to be replaced with those basic (1024x1024) by focusing on high-resolution
C4d and maya format not include animation,rig and did not object parametric,but i have included the correct pivot point for the animation.
In c4d and maya I also made versions of the open close to some group objects (stepladder,branches.)
Many objects have hypernurbs ,smooth adjustable.
