These are two rigged and animated 3D-models of human hands with lower arms (caucasian male) built to real-world-scale (1unit = 1cm).

The left-hand-model is essentially a flipped copy of the right-hand-model. Both models share the same UVs and textures. The rig and the poses have also been flipped and the user data nodes of the left-hand-model have been adjusted to accommodate the flipping.
Since the meshes are (except for the flipping) identical, the preview-images (details and wireframes) show only the right-hand-model as example.
If you only need the right-hand-model, please look at the asset: Rigged and Animated Hand (Male).
If you need a hand-model without rig, please look at the asset: Posed Male Hand
The models are polygonal, subdividable and highly detailed to be usable in close-ups.

The easy to use custom rig has been built especially for this model. For each hand there is only one Controller-Object to move and rotate the hand. The rotations of the finger-joints are all controlled via sliders in the attribute-manager or HUD. Special Selection-Objects make it easy to select the controllers in the viewport. See the preview-image for details.

The models consists of 4 separate objects:

1: RMH-Hand (with arm):
866 Vertices, 863 Polygons (858 Quads / 5 Tris)
2: RMH-Fingernails:
150 Vertices,140 Polygons (all Quads)

3: LMH-Hand (with arm):
866 Vertices, 863 Polygons (858 Quads / 5 Tris)
2: LMH-Fingernails:
150 Vertices,140 Polygons (all Quads)

RMH stands for 'Right Male Hand'. This Abbreviation is a prefix to all objects belonging to the right-hand-model.
LMH stands for Left Male Hand'. This Abbreviation is a prefix to all objects belonging to the left-hand-model.

This way individual parts of these models are easily identified in a large scene with many other objects.

The models were created with CINEMA4D Release16 Studio and need the 'Advanced Render' Module to render exactly like the thumbnails (The Standard Rerderer' was used with GI and Ambient Occlusion). The project also works with earlier Versions of C4D (R14 an R15 have been tested). Renders made with Versions prior to the introduction of the Reflectance Channel, with C4D Prime or with other applications will look slightly differently.

Both Models are UV-Mapped (non overlapping) and use these included textures:

MH_Color.jpg (4096 x 4096 pixels)
MH_Bump.jpg (4096 x 4096 pixels)
MH_Normals.jpg (4096 x 4096 pixels)
MH_Specular.jpg (4096 x 4096 pixels)

The Normal-Channel of the left Hand material has flipped x and y settings. This is the reason for the left hand model having its own material.

The zip-file contains the entire project with two posed and animated rigged Hand-models (right Hand and left Hand) with fingernails as well as all texture maps and the scene (cameras, lights, a table and a sphere with HDRI-Image for reflections) used to make the thumbnails.

Thumbnail-images are rendered with CINEMA 4D Release16 Studio. Global-Illumination and Ambient Occlusion are used.
No third-party renderer or plug-ins needed.
