A photorealistic wind turbine model with high res textures and and realistic shaders. Model consists of a clean low to medium poly geometry that is subdived at rendertime. Everything is texured using multiple 2k and 4k maps. A texture pack with clean textures without the dirt is available under supporting items as well as the original Photoshop files. This way you can tweak the textures any way you want. Add logos etc.
The Maya scene is set up with Mental Ray and Vray for Maya shaders. Download the appropriate version. Both version produce nearly identical results. See Vray example image. Scenes, shaders and lights are set up for a linear workflow, so make sure to check your renderings with the correct gamma. The model is rigged with a single control, with extra attributes to control head, rotor and blade rotation. See readme.txt for additional details.
The 3dsMax scenes are set up with the Arch and Design shaders for Mental Ray and Vray materials for Vray. There are two turbosmooths modifiers in the scene, leaving the base geometry intact. The turbine is rigged with some simple control objects for placement and animation. See the preview images for example renderings and a screenshot.
The fbx and obj scenes are exportet from Maya and come without shaders etc.
All previews were rendered with Maya Mental Ray unless otherwise stated. The used HDRI and background images are not included in this product.
