Turbo Squid and Autodesk Unveil the Autodesk Certified Animation Plug-In Program (ACAP)

ACAP Program Re-Branded to Update Name from Discreet Certified 3ds Max Software Plug-In Program

(New Orleans, LA – May 4, 2005) - Turbo Squid™, home of the world’s largest collection of royalty-free 3D products, and the Media and Entertainment division of Autodesk, Inc. today unveiled the new Autodesk Certified Animation Plug-in Program, or ACAP.

Turbo Squid is the worldwide publisher and distributor for the ACAP program (formerly known as the Discreet Certified 3ds Max Plug-in Program (DCP)). The ACAP program offers seventeen premium certified plug-ins for 3ds Max and Autodesk VIZ users, with several more ACAPs in development. New ACAPs will be demonstrated at SIGGRAPH 2005 in Autodesk’s booth #1700, as well as the Turbo Squid/Ballistic Media booth #1051.

These plug-ins are subjected to stringent testing procedures defined by Autodesk to ensure each plug-in works well with 3ds Max software as well as other Autodesk Certified Animation Plug-ins.
