Multi-purpose sports hall is the center of Zadar's sport where rewrites the sports history of the city of Zadar. Its construction started in January 2004, was designed by Architecture studio Hri from Zagreb, and the works were carried out company Lavevi-Engineering Ltd. from Split. Was completed in October 2008. The first sport performance it had a Croatian handball team as the host of the qualifying tournament for the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008. The hall was used at the World Handball Championship in 2009 because Zadar was designated as one of the host cities. It is named after the great Croatian basketball player Kresimir Cosic. So shortly after the completion of solemn proclamation of Kresimir Cosic Hall before kick NLB between Zadar and Split, 3 October 2008. Two days before the Zadar city councilors are unanimous decision decided that the new basketball arena Visnjik that name by Kresimir Cosic.  Hall managed company Sports center Vinjik Ltd. owned by the City of Zadar.
