This is one 32-bit floating point HDR texture of a Hollywood movie set light, specifically the Arrimax18/20. I photographed the said light with a standard 55mm lens during the downtime of a commercial shoot 15 times, with an exposure range from 3 sec to 1/4000 in step size of 1 and 1/3 EV. That gives a range of 20 EV’s of light in this one texture, and in Nuke the eye dropper will sample up to intensity 1200 at the brightest center points. In Maya you can texture map this onto a surface with surface shader or better yet use Mental Ray features user_ibl_rect (maya 2013) and builtin_object_light (maya 2014). Also included but not necessary are the original camera raw files in NEF format for creating the HDR yourself. I used photomatix to combine these into one floating point High Dynamic Range image, but you could possibly squeeze out higher intensity values with other software. When you build this thing in 3D the dimensions are 33.5 x 30.7 x 31.8' (85.2 x 78 x 81 cm).
