This is an accurate and high definition 3D model of the legendary Citroën 2cv AZU utility van, as it was produced from 1955 until 1961.

At the Paris Salon in 1948, Citroën unveiled the 2cv Saloon and the first cars of this “ Type A' were sold in 1949.
The 2cv AU ( Type A Utility ) , shown at the 1950 Paris salon, went in production from early 1951 and used the same 375 cc engine of the saloon. it was an immediate success.
To keep weight at a minimum, Citroën made extensive use of corrugated sheet metal to improve strength.
The model AZU with 425cc engine and other improvements appeared in 1955.

in 1961, the AZU acquired a more modern bonnet and grille. Suicide doors were replaced by front-hinged ones in 1963 and with some other minor changes, it was produced until 1978.
The 2cv saloon remained in production until 1990. By then, a total of 3867932 Type A based cars had been produced, including 1246299 Utility vehicles.

Native file format is Cinema4D version 13

Only texture maps for headlight glass and speedometer are needed ( and are included ). All other objects use standard materials, so these can easily be changed to whatever color you like.

Due to the very complex nature of this model, all subdivision modifiers were made editable, so there' s no low-poly version available.
many parts were welded together for ease of manipulation, but a tiny gap was left between them to make it possible to select the polygons separately.
Wheels, doors and suspension are all separate objects, so these can easily be animated.
