A high definition 3D reproduction of a vintage Russian toy robot Model has 9 parts so he can be riged for animation. The max file has the modifier stack intact so you can reduce the smoothnes if desired, I have it set on '2' as default. The 3DS file was exported using a smoothness setting of 1 because 2 had too many faces for export, but as you can see in the 'Untextured' sample the 3DS version still has very nice surface smoothness. The OBJ file was exported out using a smoothness setting of '2' so it has even greater surface smothness and edge definition. If you use the bumpmap I provided with your chrome material he will have an even more realistic look as this particular vinage toy has a very heavy chrome finish that has ripples and surface flaws so the bumpmap will help duplicate that effect. You will need to download the seprate zip with the bumpmap though.
The Bryce OBP file was made using the exported OBJ file with the high smoothness seting of 2 in MAX 8 and is a fully textured preset ready to go.
