Modeled and rendered in 3DS MAX 8 without plugins. The model has primarily quad based topology so you can easily choose the models resolution with a subdivision modifier, like TurboSmooth.
All the models parts and scene helpers are organized via their naming scheme.
The model has many moving parts including the doors, windows, rotors, landing gears, tail wing, and the cockpit controls that are linked to helper objects and wired to animation sliders, making it quick and easy to choose the model's pose.
The preview renders show the model with 1 level of subdivision applied. At 0 levels of the subdivision the scene polygon count is 759,026 And with 1 level of subdivision, as seen in the renders, the scene polygon count is 2,940,196.
The model is fully detailed inside and out with a full interior and cockpit, all scaled to real life size of 50 feet from the front of the fuselage to the tail.
The textures are in JPG format and are 2048x2048 pixels and include a color, specular, transparency and reflection map.
