If you are looking for an outdoor firing sound with little reverb for use in a game like I was, don't buy this sound. This was recorded in-doors and will be a waste of your money. However, if you don't care about the application and just wish to listen, by all means suit yourself.

I was hoping to turn this into a loopable media for the game Halo Custom Edition. However, when I found that the sound had too much in-door reverb to it I was sadly disappointed. Three out of five stars :(

You can't get more authentic than this! This was recorded June 6, 2004, at the National D-Day Museum in New Orleans, LA. It is an authentic recording of a fully automatic BAR (Browning Automatic Rifle). This audio can be used to make authentic gun sounds for your game or it can be used as background filler in your level. The file is an avi. The video was compressed, but the audio was left uncompressed (16 bit stereo, 48khz).
