The model is made to size (length 2.5) and uses inches as a unit of measure.
The actual lure seems to be 1 piece of molded translucent plastic with a texture that seems to be laminated on the body while the bill remains clear. The printed texture in this instance is named firetiger. The inside of the texture is white. Looking straight into the face of the lure you can see the inside of the body through the clear bill. You can also see where the laminated texture overlaps the bill.
There are no triangles or n-gons in the model. The model can be used for print or animation but is not intended for 3d printing. There is a low poly model included in the assets. The final subdivided model does contain a lot of polygons.
I used the actual lure for reference but did enhance some areas to make the model more interesting.
To create the body with the firetiger texture on the outside and white on the inside I used cloth simulation in C4D. I created positive thickness and used the firetiger material for the outside. I copied this and used negative thickness with a white material for the inside. I stamped down each naming them inner and outer.
