TURBOSQUID CONVERSION SERVICE DOES NOT OFFER CONVERSION OF THIS MODEL TO ANY OTHER FORMAT TO THE LEVEL OF COMPARABLE RENDER QUALITY. CONVERSION TO ANY OTHER FORMAT WOULD MEAN REWORK ALMOST FROM THE SCRATCH.

This product is Asteroid Alfa 15 V1.0.

All images are rendered with the default LightWave 3D render. Third-party plugins are used.

VERY IMPORTANT: This 3D model uses IFW2 plugins/nodes (paid) and DB&W plugin (free). IFW2 plugins are especially important because IFW2 nodes are used for procedurally created craters and procedurally created surface.

Scene includes:
- color space default preset; Display CS=sRGB, Output CS=sRGB
- 1 asteroid with UV map (in this setup UV map is not used/needed)
- dynamic day/night according to the Sun position
- the Sun (point light attached to null for rotation around the asteroid)
- aprox. diameter = 270 m

All presentation pictures and the attached movie have been rendered with subdivision level 14. SubD images are the exception. This setting is relatively high, more suitable for closeups. Following are some referential RAM requirements for different subdivision levels:

Subdivision Level 0 = 300 MB RAM, 209120 polygons
Subdivision Level 3 = 2.3 GB RAM, 3.8 million polygons
Subdivision Level 6 = 7.4 GB RAM, 15 million polygons
Subdivision Level 9 = 16.7 GB RAM, 44 million polygons
Subdivision Level 14 = 36.4 GB RAM, 82 million polygons

Default subdivision level is set to 3.

Tested in LightWave 3D 2015.3 with required plugins.
