Meet Darryl! Darryl is loyal, ambitious and daring. But there's more than meets the eye, not surprising for somebody with such a past. Darryl was born and grew up in a large family in a merchant community, he lived comfortably until he was about 4 years old, but at that point life changed. He lost his brother in an invasion and was abandoned by all. With a new found love he had to survive in a rough world. But with his intrepidness and capability, he managed to overcome all odds and go beyond expectations. This has turned her into the man he is today. Darryl is a libra.
Geometry and texture:
The model is completely quad polygonal. Polygon count and texture resolution are optimized for game-engine usage. Poly number is less than 8000.
Textures include diffuse map, normal map and spec map. All of them are 2048x2048 RGB 8-bits/channel jpg. Textures are unwrapped as non-intersecting images. All textures are included within the archive files and also provided as supporting images.
Scene includes only one sun light and a global light override. All cameras and batch render settings that you can see in the presentation images are included within the max files. (Don't forget to check your visibility settings if you can't see lights, cameras and helpers)
The content includes two different rigged MAX models with different rigging methods.
'...3ds_Rigged.zip' archive contains the MAX model with the T-posed 3ds rigged structure with a standard biped bone system. This version can be easily animated and the bone structure can be seen in the presentation images.
'...Unity-Animated.zip' archive file on the other hand, contains an animated MAX model (idle animation) with a game engine (namely Unity) bone structure. An export from this file can directly be used in a game engine.
The content also includes many different animated bone structures wthin the 'All Animations (fbx).rar' archive file. Within the archive, you will find readily animated bone structures in fbx format without the main mesh. All these animations are compatible with the MAX file within the 'Unity-Animated.zip' archive file.
To apply them on your model, simply open the MAX file within '...Unity-Animated.zip' archive file (or import '...idle-animated.FBX' file into your empty scene) and import fbx files within 'All Animations (fbx).rar' archive file one by one. Each import will change the bone structure and thus, animation of the model.
Some animations are presented as turntable animations but there are more. Here is the full list of animations included:
Idle (default file) - Excited idle animation Idle (1).fbx - Ready for action idle animation Jump_inplace.fbx - Jumping up in-place Jump_run.fbx - Jumping forward (can be blended with running animations) Running_fem.fbx - Running animation in a feminine way Running_masc.fbx - Running animation in a masculine way Running_scared.fbx - Frightened running animation Walking_catwalk.fbx - Catwalk animation Walking_fem.fbx - Walking animation in a feminine way Walking_masc.fbx - Walking animation in a masculine way Walking_stealth.fbx - Stealth walking Walking-swag.fbx - Swagger Dying.fbx - Discontinuous dying action
