OBJ version very poor / non functional texture mapping, with nonstandard mtl definitions generated by Deep Exploration, as well as scale and rotation issues. 3DS version better
Description
New Zealand Cabbage Tree ( Cordyline australis )

Arboreal Plant, evergreen
Height : 1.5m to 15m included
Origin : New Zealand
Environment : open fields and hill sides, in full sun or partial shade
Climate : warm, temperate; well tolerant of occasional cold conditions

Notes :
The Cabbage Tree is a monocotyledon tree-like plant of the lily family, native of New Zealand. It was a very important food source for the Maori populations, who used to eat the carrot-shaped root of the
plant as their main food, called Kauru. Also the young central leaves of the bushy branch heads can be used as substitute for cabbage (hence the common name). The Cabbage Tree stands well occasional cold conditions, and for this reason is today planted as decorative plant in gardens of cooler world areas, such as England coasts. The Maori names of this plant are Ti rakau or Ti kouka.
