The Whistling Fish was originally designed as a compact fighter, however taxis and traders found the vehicle more useful when optimised for lightweight travelling. As such, it was renamed from the original and not very exciting 'Fly Swatter MKII', to the 'Whistling Fish'.
As an antique ship, only one remains near the Altair sector, hence why this particular model's name has become 'The Whistling Fish', as opposed to simply 'Whistling Fish'.
This model is made of 27 individual polygons, to easily allow for customers to make their own upgrades and adjustments. The parts will import without any parenting, however, so it is advisable for the customer to parent all polygons to the 'base' object, which is the hull of the spacecraft itself.
The individual objects allow allow for the possibility of moving parts; for example, the large ring around the spacecraft is designed to rotate.
