A high definition model of the USS Arleigh Burke (DDG 51).

The level of detail is suitable for the most extreme close-up renderings.

The geometry is clean, built mostly on quads (98%), with no N-gons, no coplanar faces, no coincident or isolated vertices. All parts of the model are 'smoothable' so you can add meshmooth/turbosmooth modifiers wherever you need, without having to further adjust the geometry.

The textures size ranges from 800x756 to 20490x20490.
As a bonus, you will also get a 20490x20490 layered psd file for the main body, so you can adjust the level of dirt/rust as you wish.

In the downloads area (after having purchased the model) you will find a set with high looseless png textures for individual elements, like the machine guns on the deck, the navy binoculars, etc.). If you need the to render close up images of these elements, simply replace the default textures folder with the high resolution ones. The textures have the same name, so that you won't have to re-assign anything.

The scale is set to 'real world' (1unit=1 cm).

Originally modeled in 3ds Max 2014, the model was exported to obj and fbx formats but you can contact support for a free conversion to any format or version you may need.

The 3ds Max version comes with both standard and V-Ray materials.

The rendering and lighting settings used to render the presentation images are not included. The model is not animated.
