Modelled using 3DMax and rendered using Vray, these planes are historically accurate with great attention to detail.
Both planes contain very high resolution textures (4000x4000)and with the maps included, the models could be used in any render engine by adding the relative maps to thei slots.
The DIII model inludes very high resolution textures detailing the DIII with serial number 2225/16 from July 1917, flown by a number of pilots from Jasta 5.
The Sopwith Camel is B6289 of Flt Lt W M Alexander of 10 Naval Squadron based at Teteghem in January 1918. Alexander used this machine to score his second Camel victory, his 13th kill overall on 23rd January. The aircaft was eventually destroyed in a crash in June 1918.
Both models can have their poly count changed depending on the level of detail you want by altering the meshsmooth iterations. 3 Iterations is the recomended level which provides the following statistics:
