This solar system scene contains all nine major planets, along with the Sun, our Moon, the Asteroid Belt (between Mars and Jupiter), and a bonus man-made satellite. The texture maps are all high resolution. The Asteroid Belt is animated using a particle flow system with fully adjustable parameters and the asteroids spin as they follow the vortex motion. There are cameras set up at each planet and a main animated flythrough camera that travels the scene. The Earth model is comprised of multiple layers, including surface, atmosphere, clouds, and a night time texture which is assigned to the shadow area of Earth (great for half day/half night shots). The Sun has an animated noise modifier for realistic surface viscosity. Lens flare and star field effects are achieved through the Video Post renderer in 3D Studio Max and custom lens flares are included in this package (.lzf and .lzv files). Excellent high-quality scene for all your visualization needs, from broadcast video to gaming.
