The roof as shown here is uv mapped for three asphalt shake texture maps (black, tan, and grey - the 348x472 maps are shown in the thumbs). No other objects require texture maps; for example, the siding is modeled with laps to allow for realistic shadowing. All objects, with the exception of the roof planes are architectually accurate. The roof can be rendered with either the two flat uv mapped planes (as shown in all but the first thumb, or the actual 3D shakes can be used for extreme closeups. A first test rendering of actual shakes is shown in the first thumbnail, two shaded previews of what the shakes actually look like are available below.
