Glass Jar with sealable lid

This is a standard model of a sealable glass jar that has the normal function to close the lid creating a great container for objects.

This scene is created and rendered within 3ds Max 2012. The material consists of only a V-ray Mtl which is backwards compatible to older versions of V-Ray as well. There are two versions of the material depending on if you wish to have the glass jar in detail or somewhere in the background. The 'Low-res' version of the material speeds up rendertimes since detailed glass usually takes some time to render.

The lid mechanism is easily moved with linked hinges in the different part. Everything links up to a Dummy object which makes it easier for you to move around the object and quickly place into your scene.

To speed up your project even more, there are a taller version of the glass jar as well as an opened jar in the scene.

The model is VERY easy to reshape if you use the 3ds max files. The model is low poly controlled for great turbosmooth finishing. If you wish to make it in a different shape, you can do so very quickly without having to worry about fixing the smooth surface.

The files are not collapsed and you can edit everything. The OBJ, FBX and 3ds files are exported in high-res and might not be as easy to reshape as the 3ds Max files.

The rendering settings and environment is also included in the 3ds Max files.
