Description
Robonaut is NASA's humanoid robotic project. This model is Robonaut 2 (R2) model which is faster than (R1). Model contains new Leg parts for climbing on space shuttle holding parts like pipes or else.. with its leg like its hand. It's cool. You will see that I modeled It's a stereo camera pair under the mouth side of its face. it's for provide depth information and visible stereo images to the system, Also it has a Battery Backpack on it.

I rig it for you with bones in 3ds max to animate only arm and hands, you can easily move head and legs with 'rotate' command. I give the correct pivot point to the leg parts. Take a look at Turntable Thumbnails.

Rendered in Defaultscanline its amazing. You can use it over your video or picture composition for your documentary or animation film.

Poligon count is

Polys : 111.952
Verts : 115.750

But animation movements are fast in while youre working on viewport. Also rendering in hi-resolution you will see how fast it is.

Arms and Body Parts has a diffuse texture in jpeg format also
2048x2048 pixel.

Model created in 3D's Max 2012 format.

I also upload OBJ version of this model. But you have to apply Body and Arm texture on it. Also you have to setup pivot points of models part if you want to use only OBJ format. Other parts has standart materials. You can apply your own materials in your 3D software. If you use 3D's max use the max format to use it with applied materials.

If You can apply a bones to its legs than IK I thinks it will be move more realistic.
