Commonly found throughout American southwest, from Texas to Arizona, this Prickly Pear cactus is nice for closeups, or for shots from further away. It is low poly, for distant shots, but you can put a smooth on it if you're going to use it close up and it looks great! It is about 6000 polys per leaf with the smooth on, or about 40,000 for the version shown in the thumbnails. I modeled it for a larger scene that I'm working on, and a smooth is not necessary unless the camera is right up on it.

It is UVd, but the textures are procedural and those material networks are included. No texture maps obviously, though you could easily do your own since it is already UVd.

Also, this cactus is highly customizable because it is in separate pieces, each 'leaf' is simply grouped together with the others. With this cactus you can easily modify it to make it a much larger one by selecting one of the 'leaves' and duplicating it, scaling and placing it where you want it.

File formats besides .ma/.mb include geometry only.
