The PA-31-350 Chieftain is a stretched, up-engined, variant of Piper’s Navajo family of twin engine aircraft. The stretched Navajo Chieftain was intended to serve as a corporate transport and commuter airliner, capable of transporting up to 10 passengers. It first appeared in 1973, originally dubbed the Navajo II, and a total of 1827 were produced until 1984.
