Microscopic Ebola Virus Modelled and Textured in Cinema4D
- high-poly 3D models for film / animation / visualization - low-poly models can be done in Cinema 4D because the source splines and sweeps are intact - baked objects and textures / ready to render them in other 3D softwares than Cinema 4D - 4 high resolution 4096 x 4096 texture maps / Color / Diffusion-Occlusion / Normal / Bump
Only in Cinema 4D using the .c4d project file :
- procedural materials so that you won’t loose any quality in renders, not even in super macro - editing splines option to get more variations of the virus if needed - editing surface displacement option to get even more variations - low-poly models can be done in Cinema 4D because the source splines and sweeps are intact
File Types :
- .c4d - .dae - .dxf - .fbx - .obj - .3ds - .stl - .wrl - .vob for VUE / color and bump map applied and incorporated - no compression
While geometry works fine in every format, baked textures may need to be relinked and materials need to be redone. Best to use .c4d file with Cinema 4D and .vob with VUE.FBX and DAE files bringing textures fine, too.
