the model has enough details for close up scales are correct
i used Maya for rigging , it will be easy to add animation to the rotors , guns and rockets on the sides ( you can also make animation to ammo belt (it is made of separate groups ) . i made a quite details to the cockpit , it looks good and doesn't need a texture .
the helicopter body is UV mapped if you want to add a cameo-flag texture
the whole model is assembled form large groups of polygon mesh , each group is divided into smaller one and so on , so it will be easy to make changes to the smallest details .
