High Detailed Photorealistic Housefly; FULLY RIGGED and ANIMATED, UV mapped and smoothable, made with Maya. Shave and a haircut for Subtle hair.


This maya version comes with polygonal hair (more visible hair) + Shave and a haircut (Subtle hair)
If you are not using Shave and a haircut for Maya please refer to the Housefly version with only polygonal hair.

This model has been modeled with a clean topology based on quads and loops.It is RIGGED, ANIMATED and smoothable.

SHAVE AND A HAIRCUT NOTE (subtle hair):
You would need Shave and A Haircut for Maya 2011 in order to render the subtle/tiny hair, otherwise you would be able to render only the main polygon hair (product ID 712027)
For an even better render quality you can increase the hair primitives count up to your machine memory limit.
The actual rendering time is about 1 minute for an HD rendering 1200x1200 frame (rendered on a system based on a single Pentium Quadcore with 8GB RAM)
--5 different hair systems for a total of about 50k hair prims.
*Please always use an updated Shave and a haircut release to avoid rendering issues.
The model is provided in the standard T-pose

RIG AND ANIMATION NOTES:
This model is rigged using simple ikHandles and NURBS primitive control objects to help achieve realistic animations of the limbs, joints, and muscles. Control objects can be easily manipulated through the transform tools to achieve desired animations.

4 animation sets have been included in a separate maya file (referenced to the main rig) to make them easier to use:

-fly around (loop)- 78 frames
-fly in place (loop)- 100 frames
-acting 1 (loop)- 100 frames
-acting 2 (loop)- 100 frames
