This is a photorealistic hippo modeled in mudbox finaly for 3D Studio Max. The details are baked in a displacement map and normal map so the ground mesh object is easy to animate and handle with low power machines. As shader it is used a sss mr shader for the real look. The bones are a standard 3dsmax biped and the hairs are the 3dsmax hair and fur modifier on a extra low poly hair object. The hippo has some morphers so it can shake ears and open the mouth. The hair rising object is a extra low poly object so that the main object can used with a turbosmooth modifier. Both obects have the same morpher aims connected togehter!
