Often we need to insert the human element in our project just to give an idea of the proportion. But sometimes photos have a too realistic look and 3d models are too complex. I usually prefer to put a shape or a dummy that gives the sense but doesn't attract the attention that i want to be focalized on the project. Btw, you can eiter use it as statuette.
The max file has a single object with Turbosmooth applied, so model definition can be easly adjusted. Other format came with 3 different resolution: Low, Medium and High. However you can simply import the LOW poly geometry in your software and aplly a subdivision surface modifier.
Object is completly tweekable with polymodelling techniques.
All the render are made with standard scanline render in 3DS MAX 2012 with standard material.
2 materials are included (Fake Metal and Fake gold) as well as a custom reflection map.
It render very quickly: about 2 secs on a i7 930 for the thumbnails in this page.
