The Flak 38 was an improved version of the Flak 30 20mm (2cm). The rate of fire was increased from 120 to 220 rounds per minute, Jamming problems were fixed and weight was reduced. The Flak 38 became the standard AA gun for the German army in 1939. The Flakvierling 38 was the 4 barreled version. The Sd. Ak. 52 trailer was the standard trailer for transporting the Flakvierling. This allowed quick unloading and loading of the gun. Once unloaded, the gun would be leveled using its tripod base. The gun had 360 degree rotation operation and could elevate to 90 degrees. The setup process took only minutes. The Flakvierling was very effective against aircraft, soft skinned vehicles and personnel.
The Model comes with two scene files. One scene is the Flakvierling by itself and the other shows the Flakvierling in stowed mode on the Sd. Ah 52 trailer for transport.
Scene files and all textures are included with the lightwave model. The model will look like the one rendered.
