At the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1987 was presented with the first evolution of the Delta HF 4WD: renamed Delta HF Integrale, appeared with some modification, both stylistic and mechanical.
The engine power of 1995 cm ³. turbocharged with intercooler went from 165 hp to 185 hp thanks to the adoption of a Garrett T3 and a renewed management electronics.
The Lancia Delta Integrale dominate the scenes of the World Rally Championship recovering, without interruption, the winning streak started in 1987 by Lancia Delta 4WD. For the drivers and constructors world titles won in 1987 are in addition other 5 consecutive Constructors 'Rally World Championships (1988-1992) and 3 Rally Drivers' World Championships among which the two laurels Miki Biasion, the first Italian, and when single, able to win the coveted world title reserved for drivers.
In 6 seasons in the World Rally Championship Lancia totals 46 wins: the booty collected only by Delta Integrale in its various evolutions counts 35 victories and 96 podium finishes.
All exterior, visible mechanical parts and interiors have been carefully modeled on real reference pictures.
