This is a custom human IK skeletal rig I built in 3ds max 8. The rig is suitable for any average human model and stands at 6 feet tall with 65 bones*. It has 15 control handles*, all at key points, with several of the controls having custom attributes*(these can be used to easily manipulate the rig using a slider instead of manually rotating control points). All bones and control names are clear and concise so selection is easy. By default, all bones are frozen, so you can't accidentally select them. Also, everything is set to non-renderable so , it won't show up in your render. Just skin your model to it(you will need to unfreeze the bones to skin your model), grab control handles and go! Very easy to animate and fun to play with!
