The model was made in Zbrush and material setup and render in 3dsmax 2012 and V-Ray 2.40. The whale 3d object is exported from zbrush at subdivision 5 and setup in 3dsmax, a displacement map to add the details at render time to subdivision 8. The package contains the ZBrush file (with the polypaint) and also the PSB (Photoshop file) with layers for further edit.
The rendering is setup in V-Ray 2.40. Lighting will be used from the main scene where it will be integrated. No 3rd party plugin needed.
Maximum texture size 16000x16000 for the whale map. Medium texture size 4096x4096 for the specular map. Minimum texture size 2608x2608 for the eye map.
