I tried to reproduce a plastic Easter egg (based on one I have here) in every detail. It has the mold divits on each end, the slight lip around the seam, the closure ridge on both parts, the flat spot inside each tip, the overall contour of the egg and even the thicknesses as they varied. On the bottom half, the closure area became very thick, but on the top half it became thinner. These are details that will only be seen (but are vital to realism) if your application can handle translucent rendering (only the higher level apps at this time).
It is detailed enough for high level rendering, but it is also great for hobby fun rendering.
