The scene contains 3 layers (watch the last image):
- Guitar - contains all the geometry exceprt strings;
- Scene - contains all lights and cameras;
- Strings - contains 6 strings.
The reason of the separated Strings layer is that it is made as splines with accepted Unwrap modifier above it. So 3ds max calculates it as Edit poly objects by default. But you can opportunity to modify it as you wish.
The model is smoothed ready. Turbosmooth is already applied to the Guitar layer's child nods. (there is no need to apply it to the String layer's child nods to avoid bump texture distortion.)
For each separate object in the scene there is the separate UV map.
The UV's are non-overlapping.
The are 2 scenes with different types of materials for 3ds max 2017 and 2020 versions. (all in all there are 4 max scenes).
8 .jpg and 2 .tx textures are included (from 500x454px (strings_bump) to 4096x4096px).
All the present images you see are clean renders (on the ones with Lava material was added some glow from V-ray - Lens effects).
