Model has very lean and clean topology, mainly quads. UVs are non-overlapping on the wooden parts, metal spring part is a simple projection. Basic wood texture, low-rez 1024x1024 - procedural Metal texture.
Very simple rig with joints, Maya skinCluster. Mirrored curves for opening and closing the pins, with rotational limits set to avoid interpenetration - Scale-able from the root control. All parts zeroed transforms, clean history.
