This is an original 3d character called Glitch. Glitch has been rigged using the 3ds Max 2012 CAT system. Nothing special involved, just a basic humanoid rig. A basic understanding on 3ds Max and CAT would be desired to assist in manipulating the character and rig.
There's a few morphs in the character's modifier stack. Simply click the character mesh and locate the morph modifier to dial them up and down if required.
There's a number of lights in the scene used to set up the hero product shot. I've kept them in there to ensure you get what you see, but feel free to unfreeze and delete them if need.
The model is fully UV unwrapped, ready to paint if you need a texture map.
I've used this character in a few animated shots myself and find he hold himself together pretty well.
