The Cessna C150 Commuter was designed as a personal two-seat aircraft. It was inexpensive to operate and an excellent trainer and air taxi. The Commuter could cruise at 105 to 110 mph and had an approximate 400 mile range. With a stall speed of 45 mph it was easy to fly in and out of short fields and airstrips. The C150 was the standard trainer for decades of most flying schools around the world. The aircraft has been operational around the world with over 24900 being built from 1959 1977.
