A complete interior and exterior castle & dungeon creation set for Blender 3d. Standard materials included - I designed this for the game engine, but the set is just geometry and materials, so can be rendered. All screen-shots have been rendered in the Blender GE. Animated, modifiable sky included (by Martinsh on Blender Artists). All parts are based on 9 squares, and the basic blocks snap together. It is very flexible, with no baked textures. All materials are included in a separate file. Real-world scaled, set on the ground surrounding 0,0,0.
This is a huge set. The following list of included items may not be complete. Basic walls: Straight, T-junctions, 4-way junctions, radiused inside corners, curved, octagonal, vaults and halls, dungeon sections, wood beam braced halls etc Curtain walls - crenelated with arrow loops, and a tunnel or not. Windows: Arches of several varieties, rectangular, & arrow loops. Includes stone work surrounds for all windows (separate objects as you may not want to use them in every case). Doors: Arches of several varieties, rectangular in small and large sizes Bars, grilles and grates, tileable geometry. Roofs including interior trusses. Straight (2 varieties), round tower top, square tower top. Doors are included in a separate file. Link a door group of your choice and all the hardware on the door comes with it. Nice and neat, no baked textures, iron parts and wood parts can have materials swapped easily. Lighting: Lanterns, candelabras, torches, candles, fires with animated flames, smoke and sparks. Hardware: Door pulls, iron straps, escutcheons, even a key. Hinges in several varieties. Ladders and stairs, simple and grand, curved, stair towers etc. Wall sections linked to curves. Modify the curves and add towers to make a complete curved and straight section town wall with a gate-house. Chimneys Floor trusses Columns and colonnades Planks, walkways etc More Im not seeing or remembering. Everything Ive ever created to build a castle. Everything has been unwrapped - youll find some parts that need to have the uvs adjusted a bit, but it doesnt matter, as youll presumably be joining sections and re-unwrapping. Ive tried to make it very flexible, so the castle you build can look different than anothers.
Other file formats - ask Turbosquid. Ive had terrible luck exporting.
Swap out materials and textures easily - nothing is baked. Textures are high-rez pngs. Main diffuse maps are mostly 2048 px square. Diffuse, spec, AO (wall blocks have no AO - bake or just use SSAO as in the screen shots), grunge, normal, reflection, environment etc as appropriate. Tweak anything you like, swap textures etc.
Ive tried to name all the parts perfectly, but Im sure I missed some (there are thousands of objects). Some object centers may be off. You may find the odd error. Ive tried hard to make this set perfect, but its been a huge undertaking, and Ive delayed publishing it for a long time because Im OCD about those tiny things.
